Valuation Sheet Tracking Template

This downloadable item includes an excel sheet for tracking your project valuations. The document keeps all valuations in one place and allows all people in commercials roles in your company to easily see an overview of what has been claimed on each project, plus a forecast.

The sheet has a column for the name of each project, it then has a column outlining whether it has been sent to the client and the date it has been sent, with the next column showing the cost sent. There are then boxes for whether it has been accepted by the client, and then whether it has been sent to your finance team to process the invoice, with a date column here too. You can then enter the final agreed cost from your client. This also allows you to track how much your valuations are being decreased with each client. The valuation totals for all projects is also captured. 

The last column is a forecast column. You may already have figures month to month, but if not, you can put an anticipated cost for each project. This is then totalled up and will give you an idea of your total claim for the month or period. This is data that can be essential for cash flow, and is a quick and easy way to get an idea of costs coming in. 

This is a simple sheet, but can provide a vital service to track your valuations, and ensure all valuations are sent and agreed each month, and can also allow you to track costs as they come in.
